Terme.
Santa Cristina is near Gambassi Terme, in the rolling hills of the Val d’Elsa, among cypresses, vineyards and olive groves.
The village has a late-medieval centre and sits on the historic Via Francigena. Around the centre you will find a green municipal park, a small exhibition about local glassmaking and the Romanesque Pieve di Santa Maria a Chianni.
Gambassi takes its name from its thermal springs. After the wedding weekend, slow down with a walk, a spa visit or simply coffee with a view over the hills.

Walk to San Gimignano.
The Via Francigena is an important pilgrimage and one of Europe’s most meaningful routes. The much-loved stage from Gambassi Terme to San Gimignano is just over thirteen kilometres and passes through vineyards, olive groves and rows of cypresses.

Bart’s family comes from Carpi in Emilia-Romagna, while the origin of his surname lies in Tuscany, a small family story that makes this place even more personal to us.
That is why we chose to bring everyone to Italy. It could hardly be more symbolic.
